Nebraska City woman fails to appear for sentencing

NEBRASKA CITY- An arrest warrant was issued Monday after Crystal Buchanan, 45, of Nebraska City failed to appear for sentencing in Otoe County District Court.

Court records say Buchanan also failed to appear on June 3, June 10, Sept. 9 and Sept. 30.

Buchanan entered a plea to attempted possession of the addictive brain stimulant Lisdexamfetamine Dimesylate on Feb. 4. An Otoe County Sheriff’s Office affidavit says she was arrested on an active Otoe County warrant following a Highway 2 traffic stop.
