AUBURN – The Auburn State Theater is hosting  a free, two-night premier of a seven-part docuseries on the long term care workforce.

The Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society and its Auburn location are included in the docuseries “People Worth Caring About.”

The Good Samaritan Society’s episode expresses the importance of engaging with the community and exposing students to a career in long term care.

It shows residents planting succulents with FFA students from Auburn High School.

Cassie Greene of the Auburn Good Samaritan Center said working with younger folks, the facility hopes to inspire the next generation to work in long term care.

The docuseries will be shown Nov. 10 at 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. Nov. 13.
