NEBRASKA CITY – Nebraska City High School received the Values Driven Award of Excellence for the 2023-24 school year.

Cognia, a 129-year-old global nonprofit organization, presents the award to schools in the Midwest that demonstrate values such as dreaming big, pursuing their mission with tenacity and standing up for students.

A Cognia press release says the school improvement and accreditation organization has conducted rigorous, on-site reviews of educational institutions around the world for over a century. Nebraska City High School held itself that that rigor.
