NEBRASKA CITY – A Nebraska City man under post release supervision for the attempted robbery in a Nebraska City neighborhood is facing a new felony charge of terroristic threats on May 23.

James Dunn, 30, is charged in Otoe County with threatening his parents. An arrest affidavit said Dunn was upset because his parents would not allow “dope” in the house.

Nebraska City police conducted a probation search of his Fourth Avenue residence.

Bond was set for Dunn at $50,000.

He was previously sentenced to 220 days in jail and 18 months post release supervision for attempted robbery a Third Avenue residence. A Nebraska City man told police he was held at gunpoint while an intruder demanded his wallet. Police were also looking for a home invasion suspect of a Fifth Avenue residence, but charges have never been filed in that case.
