'Business partners' face marijuana charge

NEBRASKA CITY – Lawrnell Kelly, 36, of Plattsmouth and Lawrence Kelley, 33, of LaVista are charged in Otoe County with possession of more than a pound of marijuana and failure to pay tax on marijuana.

An arrest affidavit says Nebraska City police made a traffic stop and found 38 packages of marijuana buds weighing about a pound. The arrest affidavit describes the men as business partners.

Bond was set for Lawrnell Kelly at $25,000 and $10,000 for Lawrence Kelly.
