NEBRASKA CITY – Three new cases alleging illegal drugs have been filed in Otoe  County court.

Casey Davidson, 31, of Brock is charged in Otoe County with possession of methamphetamine on Feb. 10.

Nebraska City police report finding illegal drugs after a traffic stop for fictitious license plates. Davidson is also charged with possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person based on an affidavit saying a knife with a 8.5-inch cutting blade was found in a search of the car.

Crystal Buchanan, 43, of Nebraska City is charged with possession of a controlled substance on Feb. 4.

An arrest affidavit says an Otoe County sheriff’s deputy found Lisdexamfetamine pills in her purse after a Highway 2 traffic stop.

Lisdexamfetamine is a stimulant that affects neurotransmitters in the brain. It is a controlled substance because it can be addictive.
