SIDNEY, IA - The Knights of Fremont-Mills grabbed a road sweep at Sidney on Friday.

The FM ladies dominated in a 67-36 win over Sidney in the first game of the day. The Knights jumped out to a 26-8 lead after the opening stanza. Fremont-Mills was led by the 19 points of Ella Thornton, who hit 4/6 from downtown. Izzy Weldon had a full stat line with 17 points, six assists, and four steals; while Ryleigh Ewalt chipped in with eleven points. Fremont-Mills is still unbeaten at 17-0, while Sidney sits at 4-11.

The nightcap saw Fremont-Mills fight back to take a 55-44 win after trailing the Cowboys all game long. Sidney led after the first quarter, but FM got closer & closer until they put together a 24-10 final frame to take the win. Fremont-Mills got 15 points from Mason Reed, 13 from Logan Jahnke, and eleven from Anders Langille. Sidney's Michael Hensley nearly willed his team to victory by hitting 11/18 overall for 25 points. Kolt Payne added a double-double to boot with ten points & 13 rebounds. Fremont-Mills moved to 7-10 with the win, while Sidney slipped to 5-11.
