Quack Off introduces paid 'duck pond'

AVOCA –  The Avoca Volunteer Fire Department has scheduled the 42^nd annual Quack Off on Saturday, Jan. 27, beginning at 7 a.m.

Changes this year includes a $5 entry fee to get in a roped area around the track to watching the racing.

A “best dressed” category has been added for those attending.

Registration ends at 12:30 p.m. and racing starts at 1 p.m.

Food will be available at the town hall.
