Sheriff says man was sheltered in Pawnee City despite felony arrest warrants

PAWNEE CITY – The Pawnee County Sheriff’s Office reports a felony arrest Tuesday with the assistance of the US Marshall’s Service and the Nebraska State Patrol.
Corey Bloom of Junction City, Kan., had five active felony warrants out of Kansas alleging criminal activity including possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver.
The sheriff says Bloom was brought to Pawnee City by friends who sheltered him and is known to be armed and dangerous. He was taken into custody safely.
