Peru City Council election results
36 percent voter turnout on Tuesday

PERU - The Nemaha County election office has released unofficial results of Tuesday’s city council election in Peru.
Brent Brown was top vote getter with 66, followed by Katy Propst-Novak with 59 and Amy Arms with 25.
Of 225 registered voters, 80 ballots were cast for a voter turnout of 36 percent.
The special election was called after the resignation of two council members.
The city council meets on the third Monday of each month at city hall.
