SIDNEY, IA - Fremont County Sheriff Kevin Aistrope reports October arrests and 954 calls for service.

Brooke Marie Johnson, 29, of Shelby, Iowa, and Jonathan Patrick Antrim, 40, of Council Bluffs are suspected of theft. An investigation that began in August placed Johnson and Antrim in possession of $11,000 worth of power tools stolen from Nebraska. Both were released after posting $200 bond provisions in Fremont County.

On Nov. 3, deputies were called to 155th Street in Thurman on a report of shots fired. Deputies allege Daniel Jay Kitchens, 65, of Thurman shot a firearm in the air and then pointed it at a neighbor over a property dispute. Kitchens was arrested for suspicion of intimidation with a dangerous weapon.

29-year-old Miesha Prince is suspected of possession with intent to distribute

Justin William Wake, 42, of Glenwood is suspected of identity theft.

The sheriff’s office also made arrests for child endangerment, public intoxication and domestic abuse.
