Nebraska City Dominates Homecoming Game Against Falls City

NEBRASKA CITY, NE - Nebraska City dominated the Tigers, winning 50-6, after building a 36-0 lead at the break. Markus Nelson led the Pioneers with three touchdowns, with multiple runs of 40-plus yards. Austin Sterling was able to dominate from the quarterback position, scoring on every drive but one he played, and that was only due to a missed field goal. Nebraska City’s defense bullied Falls City all evening, only allowing six points on the final drive of the game for the Tigers.
Nebraska City scored two touchdowns in the second half, via backup players. Mason Von Feldt caught a touchdown and threw one as well in the second half. Falls City scored their lone touchdown of the day from a pass by backup freshman quarterback Jacoby Bangert to TE Mason Collier.
Nebraska City travels to Raymond Central next, as Falls City plays host to Lincoln Christian.
