Sheriff reports rollover accident
Two 18-year-olds taken to hospital with injuries
By News Channel NebraskaPLATTSMOUTH - The Cass County Sheriff’s Office reports a rollover accident near Horning Road and Sullivan Drive on Wednesday night.
A sheriff’s office press release says 18-year-old Jason Adams of Plattsmouth was driving an Acura TL west on Horning Road and lost control of the vehicle. Investigators say the Acura went sideways into a ditch and crashed into a recently re-engineered culvert for Sullivan Drive. The car flipped onto its roof.
Adams, along with 18-year-old Joeray Martinez of Plattsmouth were transported by Plattsmouth Rescue to University of Nebraska Medical Center with minor injuries.
Julia Seyler, 20, and a 14-year-old female, both of Plattsmouth, were transported by Murray Rescue on a precautionary basis. Seatbelts were in use and airbags deployed.
Charges are pending.
Deputies, Plattsmouth Rescue, Plattsmouth Fire, and Murray Rescue responded.
