LA VISTA, Neb. -- Construction of ALLO Fiber’s 100% fiber-optic network in La Vista began on June 19.

A construction kick-off event with the La Vista Mayor, Chamber of Commerce, and City Hall officials will be held on Aug. 22 from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. at La Vista City Central Park.

Teams have been constructing ALLO’s fiber infrastructure throughout La Vista. Residents and businesses will receive advance notice of necessary work in yards and easements through the mail. ALLO teams may also knock on doors to explain the process and answer any questions.

This fiber investment ensures that La Vista will have "world-class service" by providing businesses, residents, and governmental entities with "exceptional internet, TV, and phone solutions" over ALLO's network. Additionally, businesses can use other ALLO Business products, including next-generation firewall, Microsoft Teams voice, cybersecurity, and managed IT services. ALLO Business’ managed IT services proactively manage businesses’ IT environment, with a focus on cybersecurity.

La Vista is the third city in the Omaha Metro Area to begin construction, followed by Papillion and Gretna, whose construction began earlier this spring.
