PAPILLION, Neb. -- Authorities said that a Sarpy County Jail inmate died in custody Thursday night. 

Around 9:48 p.m., Sarpy County Sheriff Deputies and Papillion Fire Department personnel said they responded to a rescue call for 43-year-old Huan Pham. 

Sarpy County Corrections Officers said they found Pham unresponsive in his cell and started CPR.

The Papillion Fire Department said they attempted further life saving measures, but they were unsuccessful. 

The Sarpy County Force Investigation Team, Sarpy County Investigators, and Douglas County Crime Lab responded to the scene to conduct an in-custody death investigation. 

The Sheriff's Office said that further details will be released at a later time.
