Man arrested in Omaha for multiple charges

OMAHA, Neb. -- A man was arrested in Omaha after reports of domestic violence and child abuse.
The Douglas County Sheriff's Office said officers were sent to the area of N 118 Circle to investigate an incident of domestic violence and child abuse that involved a weapon on Monday.
Officers said a standoff occurred after they arrived at the home. The suspect, Mark Cade, reportedly would not come out of the home and threatened the officers.
According to authorities, Cade come out of the home at 4:00 p.m. and was taken into custody. Cade reportedly had a loaded handgun on him as he left the home.
Cade was booked at the Douglas County Department of Corrections for two counts each of terroristic threats, use of a weapon to commit a felony, one count of domestic assault in the third Degree, and child abuse.
