FALLS CITY - The Falls City City Council is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. today at city hall.

The agenda includes a sidewalk improvement program, slanted parking on East 17th Street.

The sidewalk improvement program provides funding for sidewalk repair or replacement for a minimum of 16 linear feet in established neighborhoods.

The program is initially funded by $50,000 from American Rescue Plant Act. The city shall provide grants of $1,500 or loans up to $5,000.

Trent Scheitel of Frontier Bank is asking the council to remove two parking stall to improve visibility for cars exiting the bank.
