Nemaha County Future Fund creates endowment for performing arts center

AUBURN - The Nemaha County Future Fund has established a new endowment account for an Auburn performing arts center.

All funds from the nonprofit formerly known as Auburn Performing Arts Center Inc. were transferred into the endowment in March.

Brent Comstock of the Nemaha County Future Fund said the merger into a dedicated account within the future fund will allow the funds to earn interest and grow until the community is ready to build a performing arts center.

The performing arts center is proposed for high school performances like band and show choir concerts, as well a community performing arts.
