PAPILLION, Neb. -- A woman that was injured in a Papillion crash on Tuesday has been taken into custody.

The Sarpy County Sheriff's Office said they arrested 44-year-old Kristen Gragert at 7:00 p.m. on Friday for a crash that injured another person.

Officers said Gragert was charged for a DUI resulting in serious injury and third offense DUI. Her blood alcohol content level was reportedly over 0.15 and Gragert was lodged at the Sarpy County Jail.

According to authorities, the accident happened at westbound Highway 370 and 126th St. around 8:14 p.m. along with Papillion Police Department, Papillion Fire Department and Omaha Fire and Rescue.

Officials said that Sarpy County Communications got a 911 call around 8:12 p.m., saying a pickup was traveling east in the westbound lanes of Highway 370 at Highway 50 before the crash.

Police said they were able to determine that a Chevy Colorado, driven by Gragert, was heading east in the westbound lanes of Highway 370 and collided head on with an Infinity Q50, driven by a 40-year-old woman, that was traveling in the westbound lane.

Both of the drivers were taken to a local hospital for their serious injuries at the time. The Infinity driver is still in the hospital, receiving treatment,
