Boulevard crash linked to texting

PLATTSMOUTH – Cass County Sheriff Robert Sorenson reports a Webster Boulevard accident Saturday that is linked to texting.

A Mazda driven by 21-year-old Kinsley Glassburn of Bellevue crashed into a ravine, hit a concrete barrier and landed in a waterway.

A press release says Glassburn told investigators she had been texting prior to the accident.

Emergency management and Plattsmouth fire worked to clean up gasoline and oil spilled in the waterway. Glassburn was transported to UNMC Saturday morning.
