PERU - The Peru State men’s basketball team defeated Clarke 92-63 on senior night.

The Bobcats led 12 to 2 early with baskets by Jibril Harris, Lorenzo Anderson and three pointers from Harris and SJ Allison Jr.

The Bobcats took a 44 to 21 lead after a 17-2 run just before the half.

Clarke cut the lead to 17 with four minutes to play, but a 13-2 run by Peru State made the score 74 to 43. Peru State  biggest lead was 32 points.

Peru State was 50 percent for the field and 48 percent from 3-point range.

The Bobcats, 21-6,  have qualified for the Heart of America Athletic Conference tournament starting on Thursday, Feb. 23, opponent, time and place will be announced at a later date. Peru State has one final regular season road test as they face Baker on Saturday, Feb. 18.
