NEBRASKA CITY - The Nebraska City Middle School has posted an update on remote learning online at

The post says the school hopes that a boiler situation that led to school closing Monday through Wednesday will be resolved soon.

Students will be allowed into the school from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday to gather supplies and Chromebooks and will begin remote learning on Thursday.

Principal Ethan Pellatz says meals still will be provided at the Middle School for those who call in to 402-873-5591.
