Humboldt reviewing school bullying policy

HUMBOLDT -  The school bullying policy is on tonight’s agenda for the Humboldt, Table Rock, Steinauer School Board Agenda.

Principal Lisa Othmer’s report says due to information published in the Falls City Journal she is including a copy of the bullying policy in the agenda information. The policy committee is scheduled to consider the annual policy, which has not been revised since August of 2020.

The policy says a student who engages in bullying could be expelled. School staff is required to investigate complaints of violations of the school’s antidiscrimination policy.

The school board is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m today.
