Sheriff reports charges after traffic accident

HAMBURG - The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Hamburg woman following a report of a vehicle driving on a church yard and a  March 20 traffic accident.

Sheriff Kevin Aistrope says a pickup driven by 32-year-old Ashley Frost collided with a 2021 Dodge Ram near Washington and E streets. Frost was taken to Grape Community Hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the Dodge Ram and a passenger were treated and released at the scene.

On Wednesday, the sheriff reported that Frost is suspected of driving under the influence and violation of ignition interlock.
