Family Dollar robbery, suspect unknown

OMAHA, Neb. -- Omaha Police Officers said that they responded to a robbery at the Family Dollar Saturday. 

Officials said that they spoke with the employee who stated that the suspect entered the store, displayed a firearm and demanded cash. 

Authorities said that after receiving an undetermined amount of cash, the suspect ran from the store. 

OPD said that the suspect was described as a black male wearing all dark clothing with a silver and black handgun. 

This is an ongoing investigation.
