Firefighters use chain saws to rescue Beaver Lake man

PLATTSMOUTH – The Cass County Sheriff’s Office reports a one-vehicle accident Sunday afternoon in the area of Rock Bluff Road and Gabriella Drive.

An Acura four-door, driven by 65-year-old Roger Stutzman of Beaver Lake, entered the south ditch and became wedged between a hill and trees.

 Murray Fire and Rescue used chain saws, cutting trees, to extricate Stutzman from his vehicle.  Stutzman was transported to UNMC for his injuries.
