(Peru, Neb)—Over the weekend the Peru State men's bowling team finished in fourth at the Wildcat Challenge down in Lawrence, Kansas. The Bobcats finished with an overall total of 8207.

The Bobcats finished fourth out of 12 teams who competed in the Challenge. The winner of the tournament was William Penn as they finished with an overall total of 8535, in second place was Midland with an overall total of 8447, rounding out the top three was Hastings as they had an overall total of 8308.

Isaac Skalak (Lincoln) finished fourth overall in the entire tournament and made the all-tournament team. He had a total of 1111, with an average of 222. He had games of 222, 202, 225, 217 and 245.

Zachary Phillips (Topeka, Kan.) finished ninth overall with an overall total of 1078, with an average of 216. He had games of 236, 226, 157, 258 and 201.

Creyton Nisly (Hutchinson, Kan.) finished 11th overall just missing out on a top ten finish with an overall total of 1064, with an average of 213. He had games of 174, 233, 206, 246 and 205.

Jett Tolentino (Mililani, Hawaii) finished 47th overall with an overall total of 781, with an average of 195. He had games of 183, 191, 186 and 221.

Stephen Acton (Falls City) finished 74th overall with an overall total of 535, with an average of 178. He had games of 166, 158 and 211.

Wyatt Woodward (Broken Bow) finished 88th overall with an overall total of 320, with an average of 160. He had games of 121 and 199.

Michael Anderson (Cairo) finished 96th overall and had a total of 158 as he bowled just one game.

The men's bowling team will be back in action on Saturday, February 26 and Sunday, February 27 as they head to Des Moines for the Heart of America Athletic Conference Tournament.
