FALLS CITY – Griffin Tracy, 47, of White Cloud, Kan., has been ordered to two years probation for possession in July of 2020.

He was arrested after Richardson County sheriff’s deputies searched a storage unit in Rulo with the assistance of a K9 unit from Brown County, Kan.

In an earlier ruling, Judge Julie Smith upheld the investigative technique of the sheriff’s office saying deputies verified information provided by an informant before taking action. The judge said there was no reason to question the certification of the K9 because the dog and handler were working for the Brown County sheriff's office.

Court records say methamphetamine was found in a unit at  B&B Boat Storage.
