River Country receives tourism marketing grants
State awards competitive tourism market grants
LINCOLN – River Country organizations received over $55,000 in the current cycle of the Community Impact and Tourism Market grant program.
Arbor Day Foundation received $18,375 and Nebraska City Tourism and Commerce received $13,800 for marketing promotions.
Beatrice Chamber received $11,000 and $7,000 went to the Missouri River Basin Lewis and Clark Center.
The Falls City Chamber received $4,500 and the Browvnille Village Theatre received $500 for marketing.
Nebraska Tourism announced grants for 76 applicants exceeding $1.5 million.
The largest grant of $55,000 goes to the Omaha Equestrian Foundation to promote the 2023 FEI jumping and dressage World Cup finals.
