NEBRASKA -- Some residents of the Midwest are bracing for potentially debilitating snowfall, but it looks like Nebraska will miss out on the worst of it.

Winter storm watches have been issued for much of Kansas and Missouri, with some residents being told to prepare for more than a foot of snow.

Forecasters said Nebraska is at the very edge of the system, and not expected to get anything too heavy.

Forecasters said maybe one to two inches of snow is possible Wednesday, mostly south of the I-80 corridor.

While Nebraska won't get much in terms of snow, it will feel like winter, with temperatures not expected to eclipse 20 degrees.
