NEBRASKA CITY - Emergency management  crews are assessing damage from Wednesday’s storm, including Otoe County where a tornado warning was issued.

Goebel: “All of our spotter reports that have been called in reported major tree damage, large branches, some trees toppled over. Not so much on the structures and buildings, but we’re not sure until we get there and actually do some assessments with them.

“We do know that there were reports of 70 plus mile per hour winds that came through, but we’re not too sure there was tornadic activity buried in those cells.”
