New Falls City ward map coming to city council
Falls City pursues rate study, street study and parking project at auditorium

FALLS CITY – The Falls City City Council is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 6.
The agenda includes a subdivision in the North Commercial Corridor, paying a consultant for utility rate study, sanitary sewer improvements, and new city council ward maps.
The appointment of Mitchell Cheek as police officer, Prichard Auditorium parking and handicap access and a citywide street survey will also be discussed.
JK Energy Consulting replied to the city’s Nov. 1 letter asking for bids on a rate design study. John Krajewski prepared four cost of service studies for Falls City dating back to 2010. He proposes rate studies for electric, natural gas, water and wastewater totaling $20,500.
The city is asked to join the county in an aerial photo project. Pictometry proposes a three-year contract beginning in 2022.
