Emergency response officials surround grain bins at Pennington Seed
One person was transported by UC Health medical helicopter to a nearby hospital after an incident at Pennington Seed in Sidney at approximately 11 a.m. Tuesday morning.

SIDNEY - One person was transported by UC Health medical helicopter to a nearby hospital after an incident at Pennington Seed in Sidney at approximately 11 a.m. Tuesday morning.
The Sidney Volunteer Fire Department, Nebraska State Patrol and Regional West Ambulance Services responded to a report of a person who had their arm stuck in a piece of equipment at the facility on the corner of Highway 30 and Link 17J.
Emergency personnel were working the scene at the base of an elevator between four grain bins until around 1 p.m..
The Pennington Seed facility remained open.
The name of the person involved and the extent of the injuries has not been released by officials.
