Burglary investigation leads to search at Weeping Water

WEEPING WATER - Cass County Sheriff William Brueggemann reports three arrests Tuesday evening in connection with a burglary investigation.

The Criminal Investigations Division had been investigating an Oct. 28 burglary,  which led to a search warrant being obtained for a residence in Weeping Water.

A Nebraska State Patrol SWAT team assisted in the warrant.

A sheriff’s office press release says evidence linked to the burglary, as well as drugs, was located.

Shane Hoffman, 41, Joshua Houchin, 32, and Jamie Brasuhn, 39, are suspected of possession of controlled substances.
