Peru water line progressing

AUBURN - JEO told the Auburn Board of Public Works Oct. 20 that the design of Peru water line is nearly complete and the easement process is beginning soon.

A booster pump station, at the expense of the city of Peru, is planned near the Auburn water treatment facility.

The board also agreed to provide low-income assistance on water bills through a federal program available until September of 2022 or when funds run out.
