NORFOLK, Neb. -- Norfolk Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Wednesday morning.

Authorities say a man entered the Speedy Mart at 101 E. Omaha Avenue at 3:47 a.m. displaying a handgun and demanding money from the clerk.

Norfolk Police Chief Michael Bauer says the clerk complied and the suspect left. No injuries were reported.

The investigation remains active, and detectives are currently following up on leads.
