Sheriff reports arrest in Gene's Service break in
Investigators say motorcycle was moved to the front of the building
PLATTSMOUTH – Cass County Sheriff William Brueggemann reports the arrest of a suspected burglar at Gene’s Service in Plattsmouth.
A sheriff’s office press release says a 911 caller reported hearing an argument at a Webster Boulevard location around midnight on Sunday. A deputy responded to observe an open door near the Shell gas station.
The deputy and Plattsmouth police searched the building and determined that it had been entered by force and a motorcycle removed from the shop and left in front of the building.
The sheriff says 39-year-old Brett Cole of Bellevue is suspected of burglary, criminal mischief and trespassing.
