Chamber recognizes frontline employee, names business of the year for 2020
McCann helped make masks for hospital, nursing homes and teachers
FALLS CITY – Falls City Chamber and Main Street presented awards at its banquet Wednesday.
The Would Eye Bar & Grill was named the 2020 small business of the year.

In a Facebook post, Chamber Director Amber Holle said the business is open 365 days a year and serves free meals on holidays for those without a place to go. Veterans are also treated each year on Veteran’s Day.
Cheryl McCann was the 2020 frontline employee of the year.
She was recognized for helping Falls City Medical Supplies, who made masks and gowns for the hospital, nursing homes, teachers and the general public.
Holle said her efforts continued after those needs were met by making cards and homemade gifts for senior citizens.
The chamber board welcomed new members Samantha Scheitel, Racy Hullman and West Karst.
