Syracuse shotgun blast results in arrest
Syracuse man suspected of terroristic threats
NEBRASKA CITY – The Otoe County Sheriff’s Office reports a disturbance involving a shotgun in Syracuse on Saturday evening.
A sheriff’s office press release says deputies arrived near 4th and Locust to find a man holding a shotgun out in front of the residence.
The man, 36-year-old James Burns of Syracuse, was taken into custody without incident.
Investigators say Burns and the other man had argued and Burns fired the shotgun into the air. He is suspected of threatening and pointing the shotgun at the man.
A 12-gauge shotgun was recovered at the scene.
