Deputy stops suspicious Cadillac in Hamburg

SIDNEY – The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office reports arrests following a traffic stop Sunday in Hamburg.

A sheriff’s office press release says a deputy noticed a Cadillac SUV with heavy front end damage and a headlight out around 8 p.m. on Washington Street. The plates on the Cadillac came back to a 2005 Buick.

Chad Sheard, 32, of Omaha and Danya Schafer, 30, of Springfield, Mo., are suspected of possession and were held in jail on $300 bonds.
