Meth arrests after Highway 50 stop
K9 unit indicates to pickup truck

NEBRASKA CITY – A Highway 50 traffic stop led to two arrests on methamphetamine charges.
A sheriff’s deputy pulled over a pickup truck driven by Donald Svajgl, 35, of Hamburg. Chad Hershey, 43, of Nebraska City was a passenger.
An arrest affidavit says a K9 unit indicated to illegal drugs after a traffic stop near H Road.
Court records say 1.3 grams of meth was taken from Svajgl. A pipe with meth residue, along with a Ruger 22 firearm and eight rounds.
