Syracuse Search Yields Meth Arrests

SYRACUSE – The Otoe County Sheriff’s Office arrested two suspects Saturday after serving a search warrant at a Syracuse residence.
Court records say deputies obtained a warrant to search a rental residence at 670 Fourth St. after Deputy James Parsons interviewed a person on Friday regarding the purchase of methamphetamine.
Tish Trew, 39, of Syracuse is suspected of possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver. She is also charged with possession of Clonzapam, Xanax and amphetamine.
Also arrested was 28-year-old Cole Hubbs of Nebraska City, who is charged with felony possession.
Bonds with a $1,000 provision and Dec. 2 court hearings were set.
In a separate incident, a sheriff’s deputy arrested 55-year-old Marlin Washburn of Omaha on Sunday.
Court records say the deputy pulled over Washburn on Highway 50 because there was no rear license plate. During a permission search, pipes with meth residue were found.
