Bock Joins Bobcat Volleyball
Plattsmouth graduate projected as defensive specialist for Peru State volleyball
PERU – Plattsmouth High School graduate Alyssa Bock has joined the Peru State College volleyball team.
The daughter of Amy and George Schworm of Murray signed her letter of intent last spring. She is an Eastern Midlands all-conference player, who had 405 digs and 21 service aces her senior year.
She also participated in soccer, track, speech and yearbook, while earning EMC academic honors.
Bobcat head coach Laurie Felderman said Bock impressed the coaching staff with her quickness and ability to read hitters.
Felderman: “We know she is coming from a great Plattsmouth volleyball program, headed by Peru State Alum Ashley Classen. We cannot thank our alums enough for the great work they do, investing their love of the game back into their student-athletes, who in turn continue their volleyball legacy at Peru State."
Bock will be majoring in English education and coaching while at Peru State.
