NEBRASKA CITY – Felony theft charges have been filed in Otoe County against  a Lincoln man accused of selling wire and equipment from a construction job site.

Arraignment is scheduled Aug. 26 for Matthew Donnar, 35, alleging third offense shoplifting.

An arrest affidavit says Otoe County sheriff’s deputies were called to the construction site of Main Street Bank at Syracuse in November of 2019. Wire, an impact driver, volt meter and batteries were among items reported missing.

Investigators say a photo taken from the job site and posted on Facebook Marketplace was taken while Donnar was clocked in at the job site.
