Motorcycle Operator Taken To Trauma Center

PLATTSMOUTH  - Sheriff William Brueggemann reports a car and motorcycle accident on Highway 75 on Thursday afternoon.

A press release says a 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle operated by a 39-year-old Bellevue man and a vehicle driven by an 81-year-old Plattsmouth resident collided.

The sheriff says the vehicle driver had stopped near a construction detour at the railroad tracks on Beach Road, but proceeded across the highway in the path of the motorcycle.

The motorcycle operator was transported to a trauma unit at University of Nebraska Medical Center due to injuries.
