Mackey Suspected Of Highway Terror, Assault

FALLS CITY - Brian Mackey, 45, of Dawson is suspected of drug offenses, use of a deadly weapon and reckless driving on June 1.

Falls City police told the Richardson County Court that police were dispatched on a report of a white pickup chasing a silver car and said the silver car had been run off the roadway before reaching Falls City.

Police attempted to stop a white pickup that was seen driving into town, but say the driver made several turns and then the driver got out.

An impoundment search of the vehicle yielded methamphetamine and pills. Police say keys to the white pickup were found in Mackey's pocket.

Mackey is charged with 14 counts including injury to a domestic partner.
