King Sentenced To Three Years Probation
State drops habitual criminal allegation
NEBRASKA CITY - Scott King, 49, of Nebraska City has been sentenced to three years probation for possession of methamphetamine in June of 2019.
A sheriff’s deputy stopped a vehicle King was driving in Nebraska City and reported that a gram of meth was found near the center console.
As part of a plea agreement, county prosecutors dropped a habitual criminal allegation.
A passenger in the vehicle, 29-year-old Brittany Alexander of Nebraska City, is scheduled to enter a plea on May 18. Judge Julie Smith overruled her motion to suppress evidence.
