NEBRASKA CITY - The National Weather Service reports record low temperatures at spots across Nebraska today.

Record low temperatures of  16 degrees were reported at Norfolk and Lincoln and 21 degrees in Omaha.

26 degrees at Falls City on April 15 was above the 18 degree record set in 1926.

Brenner Field reported 21 degrees at 4:53 a.m. on Tuesday. The Nebraska City Airport reported a low of 21 degrees at 6:55 a.m. on Tuesday.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for 10 Nebraska counties, including the southern panhandle,  until 7 p.m. on Thursday.

 

Snow accumulations of three to five inches are possible south of Interstate 80 on Thursday.
