Falls City Police Adopt Social Distancing
Falls City police modify response policy due to coronavirus pandemic

FALLS CITY – Falls City police are modifying response procedures due to the coronavirus pandemic.
A press release issued Tuesday says police will be practicing social distancing as recommended by medical experts and using patrol units to complete reports.
Police will use telephone reporting when circumstances do not require an immediate response. The non-emergency phone number is 402-245-4422.
The 911 dispatcher will ask callers screening questions to for police and medical services.
Anyone with exposure to COVID-19 or is experience symptoms of respiratory illness, is asked to give that information to dispatchers.
The police department is asking citizens to refrain from entering the lobby of the police station.
Dog license due dates will be extended.
