Otoe County K9 Unit Patrols Highway 2

NEBRASKA CITY – The Otoe County Sheriff’s Office arrested a South Carolina man Friday for suspicion of intent to deliver illegal drugs and possession of a firearm.

Justin Lewis, 21, of Summerville, S.C., was stopped on Highway 2 near County Road 66 for speeding.

A sheriff’s office press release says a K9 was deployed, which indicated to the presence of illegal drugs. Investigators say about 130 pounds of marijuana was found in vacuumed sealed bags in the trunk. A loaded handgun was also located in the vehicle.
